Ribeiro Frio - PortelaAccessible route almost always done on the terrace of the island taken from Sierra, which is protected by natural hedges and terraces. Some places we have to have a special care due to the uneven floor and a little wet and slippery at times.The drop to Portela is made by a path until you reach the road that Portela distance of about 4km from the Levada da Serra Faial, the floor is in good condition and is very marked decline.
