1- Santana-East tour- An excelent opportunity to see and enjoy the views of these marvelous mountains and sea sore beauty. Description: Departure from Funchal to Camacha(wickerwork), Pico do Arieiro(the 3rd highest mountain in Madeira), Ribeiro Frio (Walk approx. 40 minutes), Santana (Typical houses),(Lunch stop at Faial in front of the Famous Eagle Rock with 590m high,1900ft).On the afternoon, Portela vewing point at 670m/2200ft, Machico city(the first landed caravel with the first Portuguese explorers,João Gonçalves Zarco ,Bartolomeu Perestrelo(Captain of Porto Santo)and Tristão Vaz Teixeira this last as Captain of the Northern boundery of the Island , with an imaginary line devision from "Ponta do Tristão" on the west until "Ponta da Oliveira" on the East near by and between Sta Cruz and Machico) , arrival to Funchal after 5:00p.m.. 2- LEVADA DO REI "THE KING'S LEVADA WALK"3,5h AT SÃO JORGE : Easy walk that starts in the hillsides of the most anciant local village on Northeast bounderies of Madeira, along a very luxuriant vegetation that describes perfectly the indigeneous flora of the island , the "Laurissilva",(very important contribute in condensation of mist in the island ,80%)true Bay Forests and an enchanting peacefull valley with waterfalls until the Levada do Rei spring where it's birth takes place at "Ribeiro Bonito"(Pretty waterstream). (alternative walk)Ponta de São Lourenço Walk 3h- description: The Vegetation is short, bit dry and arid landscape through cliffs by the sea. It is beautiful stroll with the view over Porto Santo desert islands, south and North costs. After we proceed to Santana with some of interesting stops, and in the afternoon we stop at Ribeiro Frio, for the visit to Balcões as well as.  Recommended: Swimming suit or wear, Walking shoes or sports shoes with a good grip, picnic, water, sunglasses, sunscreen, sun cap or hut.
